From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
Aker Solutions is looking for a Task lead with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Kristiansund and will be led from there.
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Oversee engineering processes for procurement, fabrication, and installation within the defined contractual framework.
  • Ensure engineering processes result in safe, maintainable, and operable design solutions.
  • Collaborate in establishing and maintaining the design basis.
  • Implement and ensure the follow-up of verification activities to uphold quality standards.
  • Take overall responsibility for project resources, ensuring efficient utilization and optimal performance across all activities.
 
Skills and Levels Description:
  • 5 – 10 years of experience in project engineering or project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Management.
  • Strong command of Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork capabilities.
  • Proficient in TIME and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, open and sharing.
  • Strong focus on business aspects and understanding technical challenges.
  • Capable of providing support and coordination for solving complex multidiscipline aspects.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
