Technical Project Manager | PV, IPP

For our client, an international Independent Power Producer specialised within Solar Energy, we are currently looking for an experienced Technical Development Manager.

As an important part of the development team, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of the development process. You will oversee the technical and engineering aspects during the development process of large-scale solar parks.

You will work closely with EPC team, the rest of the development department, as well as development partners. This position will be based in Warsaw.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Supporting Business Developers during Screening/Opportunity phase (simple layouts, maps for landowners, making preliminary design/map).
• Delivering Technical inputs for Environmental Decision application, Zoning Decision application or Master Plan application plus supervising and controlling that all technical solutions which BE requires are in the final documents, taking part in the whole process.
• Supporting Grid Integration Manager in preparation of the application for Connection Conditions. checking Connection Conditions.
• Taking care about building design and amending/replacement building design, all approvals necessary for the building design, preparation of building design, supervision of external party which will be responsible for building design, checking if design is prepared according to landowner agreement, Environmental Decision, Zoning Decision/Master Plan, Connection Conditions, etc.
• Contact point for our development Partner in terms of technical issues related to development phase (Env Dec, Zoning Decision, building permit, amending building permit).
• Link between our Partner and Engineering team, Business Developers and Engineering team.
• Optimization of plant design.
• Site visits during development stage.

Ideal candidate should have:

• Previous experience (minimum 3-5 years of experience) in a similar role related to large scale PV plants,
• Proven track record in PV design,
• Experience in supervision and management of works related to external PV designer which prepare building design,
• Excellent oral and written communication in English,
• Good understanding of designing PV sites,
• Ability to deliver projects effectively and on time,
• Driver’s licence (cat. B),
• Ability to identify all development risk regarding PV project development and knowledge how to overcome it.
