Service Technical Warehouse Employee
1. Role Summary In this role, the Technical Warehouse Employee performs tasks related to the reception, storage and release of materials. Fully proficient in warehousing and inventory, he/ she contributes to projects and initiatives to improve the management of the warehouse and he/ she influences and guides the rest of the team in the execution of operational standards and processes.
He/ She has some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework.
He/ She solves problems in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
He/ She will promote, implement, coordinate and supervise continuous improvement actions in the unit with the guidance of the Global Supply Chain Organization to achieve excellence in EHS, and to maximize Quality, Delivery and Costs optimization.
2. Essential Responsibilities
In this role, the Technical Warehouse Employee has a direct collaborative role with the warehouse workers and a transversal role in collaboration with the Logistics Coordinator and the O&M Services team of the site to which he/she belongs.
He/ She will conduct daily meetings with the Warehouse, Site teams to define the priorities of the day, the risks of the activities identified for that day, the EHS measures to be taken.
He will participate in the daily or weekly meetings organized by the Logistics Coordinator with the O&M contacts and the central warehouse to align all stakeholders with needs, priorities, and deadlines.
Weekly meetings to validate sticking points.

2. Essential Responsibilities
- Always ensure full adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) practices, ensure that team members follow defined procedures and comply with requirements.
- In her/his area of responsibility, ensure compliance, lead, and drive continuous environmental, health, safety improvements in support of wind farm objectives.
- Ensure the satisfaction of internal and external customers and implement continuous improvement actions in her/his area to increase performance.
- Monitor and improve accuracy, productivity, and performance of warehouse operations focused on customer satisfaction, including on-time delivery (reception, put away, storage, Kanban picking, kitting, packaging, manifesting, delivery, and reverse logistic to / from warehouse).
- Ensure all the warehouses processes are properly handled, and systems (ERP, Go Codes, …) are aligned with Physical state of the goods on hand to guarantee the accuracy between physical and computer stocks and the efficiency of cycle counting’s.
- Manage the mobilization, demobilization and sorting of tools, parts, and equipment in the warehouse during the rotation period, to facilitate efficient mobilization and demobilization load outs and deployments.
- Manage the warehouse information to ensure an efficient tooling certification, calibration or reparation aligned with daily site operational needs focusing on end customer satisfaction.
- Implement objectives in each functional area of the warehouse (receiving, storage, kitting, etc.). Ensure the monitoring and reporting of the “Safety”, “Quality”, “Delivery”, “Costs & People” indicators.
- Manage the Waste and Hazardous Goods properly in the Warehouse and in full conformity with the Country Legislation and the end customer requirements.
- Be a role model of collaboration and coordination with other functions and Segments to maximize the value; engages with key business stakeholders to lead initiatives to deliver improvement targets and involve them in the development of a contemporary Supply Chain culture.
- Support customs operations of reception / dispatch of material to the wind farm

- Specific professional skills
- BAC+3 or high school diploma.
- Strong operational and store/warehouse management skills (at least 5 years of experience).
- Proven ability to work with ERP (SAP, Oracle...), MRP, and Excel systems - at least 2 years of experience.
- Good knowledge of the management and logistics of Hazardous Products.
- Ability to solve problems: analytical mind, ability to question existing processes, critical thinking.
- Proven ability to identify areas for improvement, to exchange and to implement the best practices identified in other Stores/Warehouses in the group.
- Very organized, rigorous, proactive, and oriented to maintain a high level of quality in the warehouse.
- Resilient and strong team spirit
- Very good command of English (written and oral).
- EHS Prerequisites
Respect and promote a strong safety culture that includes:
- Ability to support and improve GE's EHS policy.
- Strong ability to stop work in the event of an EHS risk.
- Knowledge of EHS risks incurred during offshore or onshore activity (if applicable)
- Ability to report EHS topics.
- Knowledge of the EHS responsibilities held - and the guarantee of maintaining EHS skills within the team.
