This is a great opportunity to become part of our Telecomms team in for our client in Norwich.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support in the delivery of Telecomms projects across North Sea Assets. Reporting to the Telecomms Team Leader this is an office-based role with requirements to travel Offshore.

The successful candidate will also be part of the On-Call rota 1 week out of 4.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Project management of new microwave radio installations
• Management of Telecomms Interfaces projects
• Daily liaison with decom, wells & drilling departments
• Design, purchase of hardware, and space management
• Planning of manpower to facilitate interface work and liaising with 3rd Parties
• Prepare telecoms interface work packs
• Ordering interface items required and stock control of decom interface pallets
• Trips to warehouse when interface complete to stock check and re-order
• Point of contact knowledge for offshore spares requirements & logistics control of handheld radio, both marine & air band control for assets

Ad-Hoc Offshore Responsibilities:
• Assist offshore comms techs with telecoms interface install/de-installs, microwave radio upgrades, and PM/CO work

Key Requirements Include:
Qualifications:
HND/Degree in a Telecommunications related subject would be ideal but is not essential if you have the relevant Telecoms experience.
Current valid offshore certification and medical.
Experience: An understanding of radio principles, propagation, multiplexing and general digital techniques.
Ideally the applicant will be expected to have experience and background knowledge in microwave radio, fibre optics, multiplexers, satellite comms, marine/aero VHF, public address systems, telephone exchanges, IP networks, IT Equipment, ATEX requirements, UK Offshore Working Requirements. SUEPEE or COMPEX qualifications.

Familiarisation with the following systems would be advantageous:
• NEC / SIAE LOS Radio
• Newbridge / RAD multiplexors • Alcatel PABX
• A knowledge of IP / Cisco / Desktop Systems would be beneficial

Personal Attributes:
