NES Fircroft are supporting a key business unit of our Engineering client, who are looking for a UK Sales Manager to cover the Northwest / Northeast / Midlands area. Our client develops and delivers a wide range of diverse corrosion resistant products and solve problems inherent in using traditional materials for tough applications and harsh environment
This is a permanent role, working Mon-Fri (40 hours per week) and after initial training is fully complete, the client is happy for the individual to be based remotely.
Ideally, it would be helpful if you have a background in civils / manufacturing / construction and a record of delivering exceptional sales in previous roles.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as main point of contact for key account enquiries for the UK Water Market, technically evaluating the customer’s requirements, assess the scope of supply and opportunities for utilizing the client's products, and assisting the estimating team with the development of quotations to meet the customer requirements and adhere to the company’s commercial policies
- Tight management of key account pipeline to ensure accurate revenue forecasting
- Create and present regular sales and activity plans including forecasting to present to key stakeholders of the business
- Maintain open and constant communication with customers to gain information on customers future strategy and communicate back to Regional Sales Director for future planning
- Regularly liaise with the Regional Sales Director where necessary to co-ordinate the correct technical and commercial response to the client
- Progress quotations directly with key accounts to verify proposals interpret requirements correctly, to ascertain if our proposal is commercially acceptable and to ensure that the company is in the best possible position to win any potential business
- Monitor customer issues, feedback, deadlines, and deliverables and ensure customer issues are handled effectively and quickly, adapting, improving and communicating internal processes as and where necessary
- Use of Sales CRM System, updating leads and closing out orders, entering new enquiries, setting activities for estimating (essential)
- Understanding of the Asset Management Project, Joint venture partnerships to design and delivery the new and existing Water Utilities Market (essential)
- Previous experience in Sales within Manufacturing or the Construction Industry (desirable)
