Visa Travel Officer

NES Fircroft are looking for an experienced Visa Travel Officer to work with one of our major Oil & Gas clients.

Location: Perth CBD
Roster: Mon - Fri
Hours: 8 hour days (2 days working from home flexibility)
Pay rate: Negotiable
Contract length: 12 months from start date 
Start date: ASAP

Please note the successful candidate will need to pass a site based medical as a pre-requisite to the role.

Job Description:  

We are currently hiring for a Visa travel officer, please see the duties we are looking for:

• Booking of flights and accommodations for employees arriving and departing Australia after their swing;
• Assisting with employees transfer from Perth airport to hotel and vice versa;
• Liaising with different departments regarding employee’s arrival dates.
• Liaising with manning agent, ensuring correct flight bookings and helicopter allocations.
• Receiving and reviewing rosters for all Saipem crew;
• Should be available for afterhours emergencies;
• Assist with Visa processing - Ensure the fulfilment of all management and administration obligations preparatory to the in patriation of personnel, including the fulfilment of immigration obligations (visas etc.);
• Ensure the fulfilment and approval of travel in the system;
• Issuance of purchase orders for the crewing department – training, transfers, medical tests and related expenses;
• Engagement with internal support functions accordingly to the requirements of the project and our contractor queries/issues;
• Assisting with mobilization/demobilization of crew;
• Processing and cross-checking timesheets;
• Assist with coordination between Saipem and Contractors – recruitment, approvals from internal stakeholders, internal/external audit assistance, making sure contractors are following Saipem and client process;
• Ensuring all white collar/blue collar employee compliances are up to date; and
• Providing general HR support to project.
  

 


Previous experience working within the Oil & Gas sector or the Travel sector is highly desirable.
