Reporting to EU Logistics Manager 
 
Location: Roermond, Netherlands
 
We have an exciting new opportunity within our new warehouse facility based in Roermond Netherlands. 
We are looking for candidates with the ability to lead and inspire, as well as enhance our capability, with proven experience in a similar role, preferably with working knowledge of SAP, Word, and Excel, fluent in Dutch and English.
You will be well organised, accurate and have a real sense of urgency!
Critical for us is your rich warehouse experience within a stock holding business, along with unwavering attention to detail.
 
Position Overview

• Ensures that day-to-day activities in the Netherlands external warehouse facility are running smoothly in cooperation with the warehouse staff. 
• Monitors and ensures the external partner achieves their KPIs and reports to EU Logistics Manager on the progress of the KPI performance. 
• Is the main contact person for the external partner regarding all questions, challenges and issues that may occur during the warehouse operation. 
• Works on continuous improvement of the warehouse operations in cooperation with different teams within the organization. 

 
Your responsibilities:

• Ensures external partner performs inbound and outbound operations according to agreed processes and helps if needed
• Ensures that the external partner performs the configuration of AEDs according to agreed processes and helps if needed
• Ensures that the external partner performs the installation of software on UIS devices according to agreed processes and helps if needed
• Closely monitors agreed KPIs and makes corrective actions in cooperation with external partner
• Keeps in close contact with the Netherlands Logistics team in Hoevelaken to ensure smooth operation
• Leads monthly KPI meetings together with logistics manager
• Works on continuous improvement together with the external partner
• Keeps up-to-date on latest product developments and trains external partner on this 
• Makes decisions based on company policies and procedures. Discusses and refers unresolved issues with external partner and logistics manager.   

 
What are we looking for in you?
 

• Fluent in Dutch and English, speaking and written.
• SAP knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
• Leadership experience is preferred. 
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft office package
• Experience in leading warehouse projects is preferred. 
• Reach truck certificate is preferred. 
• Fork-lift truck certificate is preferred.
• Multi-tasking and well organised and able to function independently with limited supervision.
• Good interpersonal skills and an ability to lead and inspire
• Strong sense of urgency when handling issues
• Ability work in Netherlands without the requirement of company sponsorship
