There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. What will you be doing?
  • Be a good integrated in fabrication team in dedicated locations
  • Secure good dialog and cooperation with fabrication leaders/ foreman
  • Ensure that job will be done in accordance with requirements in procedures and project specifications
  • Ensure that the fabrication team is aware of all project requirements and understands them well
  • Secure that most productive welding methods will be used in fabrication wherever possible
  • To be familiar with all standards, rules and specifications, and continuously verify that all requirements and adequate parts in ISO 3834-2 and EN1090 are implemented and followed
  • To be adviser due to: Training and familiarize of welding technology for welders, tack welders, fitters and welding coordinators/inspectors etc. 
  • To be adviser due to implementation and use of International Standards, Specification, Companies, Fabrication Documents and certifying of quality standards. - Monitoring (welding inspection) all fabrication activities
  • Follow up welding technical documentation, deviations, etc, 
  • Inform the construction manager and welding coordinator of any discrepancies to welding, and ensure that necessary corrective actions are implemented
  • Inspections of bending facilities and bending process on projects where bending activities exist - Scope and frequency of inspections will be set up by project welding coordinator
  • Inspections in cutting, bevelling and edge preparation facilities

Qualifications we think you should have:
  • Good English language both speaking and writing
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to solve conflict situations in constructive manner
  • International Welding Inspector: IWI-C
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the Oil&Gas industry
  • Available for work in Norway on a 14/21 days rotation schedule
