Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing? 
  • Responsible for quality and punctuality of work package, based on plans, procedures and practices established in the project. 
  • Responsible for work package for the structural and marine disciplines (surface treatment, architectural, permanent and temporary structures). 
  • Responsible that all requirements and scope of work is included in work package. 
  • Responsible that quality of the work packages is acceptable by following relevant procedures and specifications. 
  • Clarify unclear details and requirements. 
  • Keep close contact with other disciplines, when required, to secure that chosen design solutions are in accordance with agreement/ common understanding across disciplines for Scope of Work in assigned discipline activities. 
  • Assist planning and fabrication with clarifications. 
  • Conduct an impact analysis if planned working methods change

Qualifications we think you should have:
  • Do you have MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience
  • Thorough knowledge of calculation assumptions, norms and project factors 
  • Use of 3D tools for transfers and review 
  • Good knowledge of MIPS and technical register 
  • Good common knowledge of the fabrication methodology. 
  • Good knowledge about workflow between CAD program and MIPS. 
  • Basic knowledge of PEM Software Skills: Good knowledge to 3D/2D DAK-systems , MIPS and planning system
  • Available for work in Norway
  • Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
