MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS • Assess wind energy yield for Company's projects and assets.
• Define, prepare, and perform wind measurement campaigns, wind analysis, up to the calculation
and optimization of wind farm production.
• Participate to wind yield tools roadmap. ACTIVITIES • Support all activities relating to the expertise of wind measurement, analysis of wind resources
and calculation of wind energy [Onshore/Offshore].
• Participate to all activities relating to wind energy yield activities, whether technical teams
or for Business Unit teams or JV/consortium teams.
• Define site measurement campaign using masts, LiDAR, floating LiDAR, etc…: define the
technical specifications, receipt, and validation of technical offers, monitoring and receipt of
measurements [Onshore/ Offshore].
• Performance monitoring and analyse wind data from on-site measurement campaigns
[Onshore/Offshore].
• Wind flow model implementation, layout optimization, wind turbines selection, particular effort on
benchmark, comparison, and expertise in wake effect modelling [Onshore/Offshore].
• Realise wind energy yield assessment, production estimation and associating uncertainties of
wind farms in the tender phase, project phase and in the operation phase [Onshore / Offshore].
• Assist in writing and issuing technical reports, technical specifications, technical guides for
internal or external use [Onshore/Offshore].
• Review and comment independent wind studies (partners or external organizations), Vendor Due
diligence [Onshore/Offshore].
• Assist in the implementation of internal methodologies for the definition of layouts, wind analysis
and calculation of producible (choice of software solutions, optimization of layouts, wake models,
estimation of technical losses etc) [Onshore/Offshore].
• Assist Business teams/architects for the selection and characterization of new wind power sites
all over the world using internal or external ad-hoc tools [Onshore/Offshore].
• Participate in R&D activities and the development of internal tools [Onshore/Offshore].

- Status: Residential (5 days/7) QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Degree qualified engineer, 2 years of experiences in wind analysis
• Interest for wind energy development
• Good knowledge in fluid mechanical, numerical analysis, statistics, meteorology
• Fast capacity to learn/use wind engineering soft: CFD (Meteodyn), data analysis (Windographer),
wind farm design (WindPro, Openwind)
• Scientific mind set, team spirit and great autonomy will be necessary to succeed in the mission
• Good knowledge English (written and spoken), and knowledge of French would be appreciated
