We are currently recruiting 2 x E&I Construction Coordinators (site based) for Global Energy EPC in Karratha on an initial 6-month contract with potential to extend.

Position Purpose:
- Produce safe, high quality cost-effective, timely and environmentally appropriate construction engineering solutions
- Provide supervision and technical assistance at manufacturing, fabrication, and installation sites
- Interface with other engineering disciplines and external stakeholders to maximize constructability of deliverables
- Provide the interface between site and engineering centers for management of change purposes
- Prepare documentation for bid, assessment and award of site-based E&I subcontracts.
- Ensure that industry standards and Group rules with respect to allocated construction engineering scopes of work are adhered to
- Interface with relevant engineering disciplines during engineering, fabrication and execution
- Review engineering deliverables to ensure constructability is defined.
- Manage standard and non-standard construction engineering performed by Engineering Consultants / Suppliers to meet project, statutory and Group rules to project schedule
- Preparation of execution plans and input to project delivery plans
- Preparation of project estimates as required to support projects.
- Attend meetings with Clients, Suppliers and / or Consultants to assist on technical issues relating to E&I Engineering and Construction.
- As required by projects, manage procurement of either permanent or temporary material / equipment associated with E&I construction engineering
- Manage engineering scope for brownfield upgrades and ensure that designed modifications comply with local and international standards and industry regulations
- Collaborate closely with site teams, engineering leads, and appointed sub-contractors
- Review and approve design deliverables, risk assessments, and site execution plans
- Quality & Compliance: Oversee QA/QC processes, site organization, and ensure adherence to engineering codes and practices
- Manage and monitor Implementation Contractor fabrication schedule ensuring delivery to site
- Manage and monitor Implementation Contractor fabricated items ensuring delivery to site
- Preparation, input to constructability reviews identifying potential fabrication/construction issues Input to the procurement, subcontract, and fabrication plans
- Prepare Fabrication Cards for all fabrication scopes based on discipline design deliverables
- Provide cost and schedule estimates from sub-contractors
- Preparation and review of implementation work packs – identify scope and issues
- Follow up on quality and delivery of E&I items/ & vendor packages
- Prepares progress reports for the project management, internal and external stakeholders
- Managing the planning and design stages of construction projects
- Understanding of completions processes and site execution processes
- Identify, define site-based changes to design deliverables, and support he MOC process as delegated by the Site Manager
- Degree in either instrument & Controls, electrical, or relevant trade qualification
- Strong onshore plant construction background
- Track record of Australian construction projects
- Experienced in brownfields execution projects within onshore plants
- Proven experience related to proactive control of project cost and schedule.
- Computer literate (P6 advantageous)
- 2 weeks on, 1 week off
- Site based role located in Karratha
- Major Onshore project
- 10.5-hour days
- 2 x roles
- Interstate travel is not covered (point of mob is Perth)
