Contract period: 15.12.2025 - 31.12.2027
Location: Asker
Main tasks:
- System Design, interface and follow up of Safety and Automation System activities as appointed by automation discipline lead.
- Specification of philosophies for Global SAS and automation design through topside SAS, Hull, Subsea and other large contractual interfaces.
- Input to, and review of, technical studies to be performed by vendors.
- Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers.
- Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and client.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or higher.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience from automation and SAS system design, incl. SAS/automation network solutions.
- Documented experience for follow-up of large multidiscipline packages.
- Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC.
- FSE-course, valid through the engagement.
- Ex-course, valid through the engagement.
- Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English - both orally and in writing.
- Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in team.
- Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements.
- Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others.
