Automation/Senior Engineer

 

Contract period: 15.01.2026 - 30.06.2026

Location: Asker

 

Main tasks:

  • Automation design for study and tendering phases for HVDC & HVAC offshore wind projects
  • Verification of design from previous study phases
  • Define, specify and design automation and SAS systems
  • Development of philosophies, topologies, I/O budget and systems descriptions according to Company specifications, Client requirements and local laws and regulations
  • Participate and arrange meetings, workshops and reviews for automation discipline
  • Interface to other disciplines, contractors and client
  • Possibility to continue to later project phases, such as FEED and EPC
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience from automation engineering in greenfield Oil&Gas projects located on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience from automation and SAS/ICSS system design activities and reviews
  • Experience from Offshore Wind projects located in Europe is preferred
  • Experience from automation system design in FEED or study phase projects
  • Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as
  • NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNVGL and IEC
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for a multicultural working environment
  • Systematic and accurate
  • High loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
  • Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
  • Knowledge of written and spoken English required
 

Required Certificates:

  • Valid EX-course
  • Valid FSE-course
