- Rotation: 28/28
- Base Work Location: Dubai Petroleum owned jack-up rig
- 15+ years of experience in the same capacity.
- Strong HSE background and regulatory knowledge regarding the implementation and/or compliance with the various policies and standards.
- Marine Engineering degree or High School diploma. Work experience and demonstrated ability of oral and written communications may be substituted in lieu of formal education.
- Valid Oil and Gas UK (OGUK) approved Medical Certificate.
- Valid Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) Certificate.
- Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers Basic Safety Training (STCW BST).
- Monitor the weather conditions and rig motions; inform OIM of conditions likely to affect drilling operations and seaworthiness of the rig.
- Ensure that accurate calculation of load distribution and weights for daily stability reports and lightship are maintained. Being able to perform stability calculations both manually and by using software.
- Coordinate all helicopter and supply boats traffic; supervise movement of materials and personnel to and from the rig
