We are recruiting for a BARGE MASTER
  • The is permanent Employee/Staff position
  • Rotation: 28/28
  • Base Work Location: Dubai Petroleum owned jack-up rig
Job Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in the same capacity.
  • Strong HSE background and regulatory knowledge regarding the implementation and/or compliance with the various policies and standards.
  • Marine Engineering degree or High School diploma. Work experience and demonstrated ability of oral and written communications may be substituted in lieu of formal education.
  • Valid Oil and Gas UK (OGUK) approved Medical Certificate.
  • Valid Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) Certificate.
  • Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers Basic Safety Training (STCW BST).
  • Monitor the weather conditions and rig motions; inform OIM of conditions likely to affect drilling operations and seaworthiness of the rig.
  • Ensure that accurate calculation of load distribution and weights for daily stability reports and lightship are maintained. Being able to perform stability calculations both manually and by using software.
  • Coordinate all helicopter and supply boats traffic; supervise movement of materials and personnel to and from the rig
