Job Title: Civil & Structural Construction Supervisor
Location: Al- Anbar Governate, Iraq
Contract duration- 11 months
Objectives:
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the civil & structural construction activities, including coordinating with subcontractor’s peers, and suppliers.
• Enforce safety regulations and building codes, and conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or violations
• Manage and resolve conflicts between parties involved in their discipline
• Maintain accurate records of progress, and quality control measures
• Identify and address any issues or problems that arise during the construction process
• Oversee and report deviations oh how Subcontractor manage the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and permits
• Review Permit to Work requested by Subcontractor, ensuring that all the hazards & controls/precautions are explained to and understood by the affected operators. Ensure safe working practices and civil / structural Safety Rules are followed by operators on site.
• Interface with the Client civil / structural counterpart and with the site Manager as required, promptly identifying areas of concern that may affect progress / quality / cost etc.. recommending corrective actions as required.
• Take part in daily meeting to report and forecast activities. Liaise with other Construction Supervisors
• Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline.
• Interface with Engineering, ensuring that latest revision of documentation is used on site.
• Civil & structural erection activities schedule monitoring.
• Assist with Commissioning phase as required
• Manage as built drawings from Subcontractors
• Verify material presence on site promptly identifying future potential issues.
• Coordinating a team of Authorized civil & structural Persons for the Civil & structural Works execution
• Coordination with site Civil & structural QA/QC (OPF and Supplier)
• Inspecting / approve and assessing the work done from Subcontractors
Construction and Commissioning Phases:
• Safety Rules, PTW
• Vendors/Engineering/Site Team interface
• CCMS – Completion supervision / Commissioning assistance
Prior Experience/Expertise Required:
Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a similar field.
• 10+ years Proven work experience as a Civil & structural supervisor in Oil & Gas EPCC Projects.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• A good eye for detail.
• Civil & structural Project Management
• Civil & Structural Design
• Civil & Structural Construction oil gas sector
• Civil & Structural Procurement / Costing
• Safety
Must have a basic knowledge of other disciplines: piping, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation etc

- A civil-Structural supervisor oversees and manages the Civil - Structural construction process, ensuring that projects are completed ontime, and to the required quality standards.
- They coordinate and direct the subcontractor’s activities, and are responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, buildingcodes, and project specifications.
