As a Civil Project Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of safely and efficiently delivering essential earthworks and remediation works. This role offers a chance to lead on-site operations while working alongside experienced professionals committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Hands-on experience in civil engineering, specialising in bulk earthworks or environmental remediation
- Strong skills in supervising contractors and ensuring smooth day-to-day site operations
- Expertise in construction planning, scheduling, and project control methods
- Proficiency in cost monitoring, progress reporting, and managing change requests
- Solid knowledge of contract management for large-scale projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities with a sharp focus on safety
- Ability to manage quality assurance and evaluate payment claims efficiently
Bonus Skills That Will Set You Apart
- Background working within remote or mining environments
- Familiarity with geotechnical investigations and environmental safety protocols
- Experience thriving in owner-led project teams
- Manual driver’s license for operational mobility and site access
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in civil or environmental engineering, or related field
- 5 to 10 years’ experience delivering earthworks, remediation, or similar projects
Other Must-Haves
- White Card certification
- Availability to work a 2-weeks-on, 1-week-off roster with 12-hour shifts
