JOB OVERVIEW
The Civil Project Engineer will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of civil works in a large-scale hydropower dam and pumped storage project. This includes involvement in various infrastructure components such as the dam, powerhouse, intake and outlet structures, tunnels, roads, and ancillary facilities. The role assists in ensuring that construction activities comply with design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules, while coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
Ideal candidates must have hands-on experience in heavy civil works related to hydropower or large-scale infrastructure and must be willing to work fully onsite.

The role assists in ensuring that construction activities comply with design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules, while coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
Ideal candidates must have hands-on experience in heavy civil works related to hydropower or large-scale infrastructure and must be willing to work fully onsite.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the daily monitoring and supervision of civil construction activities at assigned work areas.
- Coordinate with contractors and site teams to ensure compliance with approved plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, progress tracking, and reporting of construction milestones and issues
- Review construction drawings, method statements, material submittals, and RFIs, raising concerns or discrepancies to the Civil Lead or Project Manager
- Support quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) inspections and ensure that work is executed to required standards.
- Ensure proper documentation of project records including reports, logs, inspection forms, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with geotechnical, structural, electro-mechanical, and environmental teams for site-level integration.
- Enforce site safety protocols and monitor implementation of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements.
- Assist in resolving site-level technical issues in coordination with engineers, foremen, and contractors.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for project leadership and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; PRC license is preferred
- Experience with civil site works such as excavation, concreting, rebar works, slope protection, drainage, etc.
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (DPWH, ASTM, ACI, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and basic project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project or Primavera).
- Minimum of 15 years of civil engineering experience in civil work (e.g., site installation, access roads, bridges, tunelling, lower area, or highways)
- Willingness to work 100% onsite, with flexibility to be assigned in either Rizal or Laguna project locations
- Strong coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality standards.
