Civil Works Supervisor – Industrial Project (Netherlands)

We are seeking an experienced Civil Works Supervisor to oversee the execution of civil construction activities on a high-profile industrial project located in the Netherlands. Operating in a complex environment, this role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of foundational and structural works in compliance with the highest safety and quality standards.
🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all civil works on site, including concrete slab pouring, foundation works, column installation, and structural concrete activities.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, construction drawings, and safety regulations.
• Manage subcontractors and site teams, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor progress, perform quality checks, and report on site activities to project management.
• Collaborate with engineering and HSE teams to maintain operational excellence and safety culture.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related field (Associate’s to Master’s level – Bac +2 to Bac +5).
• 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience supervising civil works on industrial sites, ideally in Oil & Gas, Nuclear, or LNG environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of formwork, reinforcement, concrete pouring, and structural construction techniques.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Safety certifications (e.g., VCA or equivalent) are highly valued.
• Excellent coordination and leadership skills in multi-contractor environments.

🌍 Languages

• Professional level of English (essential for site communication)
• Dutch is a plus, but not mandator
