The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating and setting up CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts to exact specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, moderate computer skills, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and machining instructions.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC lathes and mills, including multi-axis machines.
- Review blueprints, work orders, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform basic edits to CNC programs as needed and input data into machine controls.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
- Follow all safety, quality, and company standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist (Lathe and/or Mill operation).
- Proficient with multi-axis CNC machines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and setup sheets.
- Moderate computer skills for data entry, CNC control adjustments, and file management.
- Experience with engine lathes, VTLs, small mills, or drill presses preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and mechanical aptitude.
Additional Information:
- 1st shift 60-70hrs a week
- Working Conditions: Shop (Climate Controlled)
- Very Competitive on Pay (Eligible for pay increases within 6 months)
- Annual Bonus 2.5%
- Pay $30-40/hr
