Commercial Asset Manager, Solar/BESS

We’re looking for an experienced Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of solar and battery storage assets, ensuring strong technical performance and commercial optimisation. Based in London, you’ll manage day‑to‑day operations, monitor KPIs, lead incident resolution, and collaborate with contractors, grid operators, and internal teams to maximise asset value.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee technical and commercial performance of renewable assets, including optimisation of solar and battery systems.
• Manage contractors, grid interactions, O&M performance, and key stakeholder relationships.
• Support ESG reporting, budgeting, insurance compliance, and financial processes.
• Lead incident management, site visits, contract reviews, and performance improvement initiatives.

What you’ll bring:

• Around 7 years of experience in technical and commercial asset management, ideally within large‑scale solar.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Solid understanding of electricity markets, grid requirements, and renewable energy revenue streams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
