NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPC contractor who specialises in carbon capture solutions. They are looking for a Commissioning Manager to work on a carbon capture facilities in Denmark.
The positions will be full time site based in Copenhagen will operate on a contract basis for an initial 6 months, with excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develop.
The Commissioning Manager
Main tasks are:
• Coordinate and lead a site team of engineers with the required competence and capacity
• Ensure correct commissioning package content and commissioning scope in PIMS-CMS
• Ensure CPCL content and discipline, and correct tag function / CPCL linking, in PIMS-CMS
• Provide input to schedules, estimates, procedures, routines and work processes for Commissioning
• Provide input to strategies and schedules for completion
• Define and review provisions in permanent design for Commissioning purposes
• Prepare and verify Commissioning procedures and ensure that these are understood by the team
• Establish and maintain safe working routines during Commissioning execution
• Ensure compliance with relevant Danish legislation and client requirements
• Ensure execution of commissioning activities according to procedures and schedule.
• Progress reporting for Commissioning activities.
• Ensure that necessary commissioning spare parts, test equipment, tools and consumables and ‘first-fill’ are defined and ordered in due time.
• Ensure smooth hand-over from Mechanical Completion (Ready For Commissioning).
• Ensure that all work is done in full compliance with company HSE regulations.
• Contribute to a positive working environment and good cooperation with all stakeholders.

Experience, qualifications and abilities
The experience, qualifications and abilities required for this position are as follows:
• Master, Bachelor of Science or equivalent
• Min. 5 years of relevant experience in similar positions
• Longer relevant experience may compensate for less formal education
• Holding leading position in previous projects
• Familiar with relevant Danish legislation and requirements
• Well-developed teambuilding, co operational- and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle responsibility and periodically high workloads.
