Rate: - $94 - $109
Location: Spring TX
Duration: 1 year (possible extension)


Overview We are seeking a Contracts Advisor to support the full contracting cycle for major projects. This role helps plan contracting strategies, prepare bid packages, evaluate contractors, negotiate terms, and ensure contracts are managed correctly from award through close‑out. Ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem‑solving, and working closely with project teams.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of contracting strategies and detailed plans.
  • Prepare contractor qualification documents, bid lists, and Invitation to Tender (ITT) packages.
  • Track all contractor questions, correspondence, and proposal updates.
  • Assist in evaluating bids and preparing award recommendations.
  • Help negotiate contract terms and finalize contract documents.
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals with legal, finance, audit, and senior management.
  • Lead internal and external contract kick‑off meetings.
  • Manage contract documentation, change orders, insurance, guarantees, and required contractor submissions.
  • Track invoices, payments, approvals, and contract changes.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance and compliance.
  • Support issue resolution and advise the project team on risks.
  • Develop and complete contract close‑out activities and documentation.
Qualifications
  •  10+ years experience in contract administration, contract engineering, or similar roles.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and contractor management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Understanding of project execution and contracting principles.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites if needed.
  • Professional certifications (CPSM, CPM, APICS, PMP) are a plus.
  • Experience with owner/operator project environments preferred.
