Contract Manager – CCS Project
Location: Padeswood, Wales
Contract: Outside IR35
Duration: 12‑month rolling (potential through 2029)
Overview
Heidelberg Materials is delivering a major Carbon Capture & Storage project at Padeswood. The Contract Manager will oversee post‑award commercial management across EPC/EPCM and major equipment packages.

Overview
Heidelberg Materials is delivering a major Carbon Capture & Storage project at Padeswood. The Contract Manager will oversee post‑award commercial management across EPC/EPCM and major equipment packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer contracts (NEC/FIDIC) including change control, notices, payments, and claims.
- Manage variations, commercial risk, forecasting, and contractor performance.
- Lead negotiations and support dispute resolution.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, legal, and project controls.
- Ensure compliance, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Strong contract management experience on industrial/process or energy projects.
- NEC3/NEC4 knowledge essential.
- Background in heavy engineering, EPC/EPCM, or decarbonisation projects preferred.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder skills.
- UK Right to Work; regular presence on-site.
