Development Project Manager

I am looking for an experienced Development Project Manager (onshore wind) to join an international IPP developing and building wind, PV & BESS plants. The Company has long-term goals on the Romanian market.

Responsibilities:

• Managing development of wind projects in Romania to RtB phase;
• Preparing necessary documents throughout the full permitting process;
• Coordination of experts and service providers;
• Preparing documents and providing support in the grid access application process;
• Collecting necessary approvals, confirmations and coordinating work on required studies for the new zoning procedure;
• Preparing and verifing project budgets and timetables;
• Meeting with the local stakeholders;
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with all parties involved in the projects;
• Tracking and documentation of project goals and milestones;
• Leadership and guidance on project related work.

Requirements:

• Experience in wind project development in Romania;
• Languages: fluency in Romanian and good command of English;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Focused and goal-oriented;
• Good communication skills and ability to make presentations and attend discussions with governmental and municipal agencies;
• Knowledge of legislation regarding project permitting process in Romania;
• Knowledge of procedures in obtaining local permits;
• Understanding of legal and technical aspects of Romanian energy grid and grid access application process;
• Valid driver license and readiness for business travels within Romania.
