Title: EHS Professional (Contract)                                                           
Location: Gibsonton, FL   33534                                                          
Schedule: Mon–Fri (7am-4pm) (Onsite)                                                          
Rate: $35 per hour (Negotiable)

The EHS Professional will support environmental, health, and safety initiatives. This role focuses on implementing EHS processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting audits, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. The ideal candidate brings solid technical knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to broader team goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, propose, and implement EHS processes, programs, and methods.
  • Lead or support the rollout of EHS initiatives, tracking progress and milestones.
  • Monitor and analyze EHS performance and adherence to internal and external standards.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory changes, recommending updates to internal procedures.
  • Support internal and external EHS audits, collaborating with EHS officers and auditors.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory EHS reports for authorities and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain productive communication with external regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct EHS training for employees and management to reinforce compliance and safe practices.
  • Continuously monitor updates to local, state, and federal EHS requirements.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree with 2-3+ years of industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of EHS standards, regulatory compliance, and safety practices.
  • Ability to analyze data, improve processes, and contribute to program development.
  • Solid understanding of business operations and how EHS impacts organizational performance.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
