NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPC contractor who specialises in carbon capture solutions. They are looking for two Electrical Commissioning Engineers to work on two carbon capture facilities in Denmark.

The positions will be full time site based in Kalundborg and Copenhagen will operate on a contract basis for an initial 9 months, with excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develop.

Commissioning Electrical Engineer


The Commissioning Electrical Engineer –  shall coordinate the preparation and execution of electrical commissioning activities on respective systems.

Main tasks are:
· Coordinate a site team of electrical engineers and technicians but not limited to.
· Participate in MC verification of equipment and packages.
· Ensure a smooth transfer of electrical commissioning packages from Construction to Commissioning, according to agreed hand-over schedule.
· Preparation of commissioning procedures in accordance with company guidelines.
· Establish and maintain good communication with other disciplines in the commissioning team, Sub-Contractor’s representatives, and Supplier representatives involved in commissioning of equipment and systems.
· Ensure correct commissioning package content and commissioning scope in PIMS-CMS.
· Ensure CPCL content and discipline, and correct tag function / CPCL linking, in PIMS-CMS.
· Provide input to schedules, estimates, procedures, routines and work processes for Commissioning.
· Secure sufficient assistance from all involved disciplines in the commissioning team.
· Carry out commissioning preparation checks for all system related equipment.
· Carry out dynamic commissioning according to the commissioning procedure(s).
· Follow up punch work in the field, punch list documentation and clearance.
· Ensure that drawings/documents are marked up with changes identified during commissioning, and that ‘as-built’ documentation is updated accordingly by responsible Contractor.
· Progress reporting on assigned system(s)
· Ensure that PIMS-CMS Completion Management System is continuously updated during commissioning.
· Ensure compliance with relevant Danish legislation and client requirements.
· Ensure smooth handover of commissioned system(s) to Clients organization.
· Ensure that all work is done in full compliance with client/company HSE regulations.
· Contribute to a positive working environment and good cooperation with all stakeholders.

Experience, qualifications and abilities


The experience, qualifications and abilities required for this position are as follows:


 Master, Bachelor of Science or equivalent
· Min. 5 years of relevant experience in similar positions
· Longer relevant experience may compensate for less formal education
· Holding similar position in previous projects
· Extensive knowledge of company  governing documents and ‘best practise’
· Familiar with relevant Danish legislation and requirements
· Well-developed teambuilding, co operational- and communication abilities.
· Ability to handle responsibility and periodically high workloads.
· High ethical standard
