Electrical Engineer

Summary
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and implementation of electrical power systems for utility-grade, industrial, commercial, and residential applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing electrical design packages for switchgear projects, including one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material (BOM).
• Review technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and release BOMs for purchasing and fabrication.
• Incorporate new product designs and modifications into production engineering systems.
• Collaborate on product development activities, including modeling and design for manufacturing (DFM).
• Help maintain standard designs and configurations.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing teams and assist with resolving product or project-related issues.
• Work closely with mechanical engineering, project management, and customers to ensure project success.
• Communicate project progress and potential challenges to supervisors.
• Contribute to improving engineering processes and systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in electrical design (medium-voltage switchgear experience preferred).
• Familiarity with control circuits, transfer schemes, differential schemes, and PT/CPT load calculations.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and create complete documentation packages.
• Understanding of switchgear mechanical design and internal wiring.
• Knowledge of ANSI, NEC, and UL standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
