NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPC contractor who specialises in carbon capture solutions. They are looking for two Electrical Engineers to work on two carbon capture facilities in Denmark.
The positions will be full time site based in Kalundborg and Copenhagen will operate on a contract basis for an initial 9 months, with excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develop.
Electrical Engineer (MC)
Position title: Electrical engineer (MC):
Candidate shall coordinate Commissioning Electrical activities at the ASV or AVV project site, within the Completion organization.
Consultants will be working both sites.
Same competence requirements as for the E&I but Electrical will have main responsibility for the electrical aspects of the project.

On-site Field Engineer Electrical:
- Ensure that all field changes, deviations, and modifications are properly identified, documented, and communicated to engineering and project management.
- Follow up on design change requests or clarifications arising from site activities, inspections, and line walks.
- Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and engineering teams to ensure that as-built documentation and redline markups are accurate and up to date.
- Verify installation work against design drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Participate in field inspections, punch listing, and system walkdowns.
- Provide technical support to site supervisors and subcontractors regarding installation methods, material selection, and interface coordination.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards (e.g., IEC/NEK), project procedures, and HSE requirements.
- Assist in resolving nonconformities and support MC (Mechanical Completion) activities related to electrical systems.
Reports to Site manager
- Knowledge/Skills Required Cross-disciplinary technical understanding related to process plant EPC projects
- Qualifications/Experience Required Fluent in English
- Educational Background Required Technical assistant, BSc or similar
- We are looking for electricians who has worked with MC(Commissioning)
- Experience with large EPC projects within industry
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation and verify that all is correctly according to these on site.
