The Electrical Engineering Specialist ensures the safe and reliable operation of production facilities at the lowest life cycle cost. The position involves preventive/predictive maintenance and corrective solutions for electrical systems across multiple facilities. Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineering Specialist ensures the safe and reliable operation of production facilities at the lowest life cycle cost. The position involves preventive/predictive maintenance and corrective solutions for electrical systems across multiple facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, including: Substations, breakers, switchgear, MCCs, protective relay systems, battery/UPS systems, transformers (up to 138kV), Motors up to 40,000 hp and 15,000 volts and Backup generators up to 1500kW.
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance (IR Thermography, Transformer Oil Analysis, Partial Discharge Analysis, Power Quality Analysis)
- Support root cause analysis for major failures and resolve chronic electrical issues
- Assist in turnaround planning and cost estimation
- Provide on-site or remote guidance to plant or contract personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- 5+ years of experience with medium voltage (5kV–15kV) electrical systems in industrial environments
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for industrial electrical systems
- Knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office and related software
- Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering AND/OR Journeyman Electrician license
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and codes
- Understanding of control and instrumentation systems
- Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., Infor EAM)
