The Electrical Engineering Specialist ensures the safe and reliable operation of production facilities at the lowest life cycle cost. The position involves preventive/predictive maintenance and corrective solutions for electrical systems across multiple facilities. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, including: Substations, breakers, switchgear, MCCs, protective relay systems, battery/UPS systems, transformers (up to 138kV), Motors up to 40,000 hp and 15,000 volts and Backup generators up to 1500kW.
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance (IR Thermography, Transformer Oil Analysis, Partial Discharge Analysis, Power Quality Analysis)
• Support root cause analysis for major failures and resolve chronic electrical issues
• Assist in turnaround planning and cost estimation
• Provide on-site or remote guidance to plant or contract personnel
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with medium voltage (5kV–15kV) electrical systems in industrial environments
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for industrial electrical systems
• Knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in MS Office and related software

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering AND/OR Journeyman Electrician license
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and codes
• Understanding of control and instrumentation systems
• Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., Infor EAM)
