Intro

For a leading international offshore engineering company, we are looking for an experienced Expeditor to support the Contracts & Procurement team. In this role, you ensure that materials, services, and documentation are delivered on time and in line with project requirements. By maintaining close contact with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you help safeguard project schedules, quality standards, and compliance with company procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and expedite supplier progress to meet contractual delivery dates
  • Participate in bid clarification and supplier kick-off meetings
  • Track production, documentation, and shipment status against project planning
  • Ensure timely submission and follow-up of supplier documentation per project requirements
  • Identify risks, delays, or issues in purchase order execution and coordinate solutions
  • Prepare and distribute expediting status reports on vendor performance
  • Coordinate shipments with suppliers and logistics partners based on release documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier correspondence and expediting activities
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and standards
  • Report progress and issues to Procurement management
Profile
  • Technical college or equivalent level of education
  • Minimum 5 years of expediting experience within offshore or oil & gas projects (FPSO experience preferred)
  • Good understanding of procurement processes and supplier management
  • Knowledge of INCOTERMS and international logistics
  • Experience with project planning and progress tracking
  • Familiarity with document or workflow management systems
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work with multiple stakeholders
