Are you an experienced Exploration Rig Geologist who thrives in fast-paced field environments? We’re seeking a motivated professional who can hit the ground running across a variety of RC and Air Core drilling programs throughout the Pilbara.
About the Role
Are you an experienced Exploration Rig Geologist who thrives in fast-paced field environments? We’re seeking a motivated professional who can hit the ground running across a variety of RC and Air Core drilling programs throughout the Pilbara.
This role offers exposure to multiple greenfields and brownfields exploration projects, working alongside a high-performing geology team driving discovery in one of Australia’s most prospective gold regions.
You will be responsible for supporting ongoing drill campaigns across several Pilbara tenements. Your focus will be on high‑quality geological logging, sampling, and data management to deliver accurate, timely results to the exploration team.

Key Responsibilities
- Daily geological logging of RC and Air Core drill chips
- QA/QC sampling, mark‑ups, and field data capture
- Supervising drilling activities to ensure safety and sample quality
- Maintaining accurate field records and sample dispatch
- Liaising with drill crews and senior geologists
- Upholding strong safety and environmental standards
- Solid experience working as a Rig Geologist on RC and Air Core programs
- Ability to work autonomously in remote field environments
- Strong geological logging and data management skills
- Practical understanding of drilling operations and sampling procedures
- A proactive, field‑ready mindset with excellent communication skills
- Valid manual driver’s licence and standard site tickets (or willingness to obtain)
