Contract Length: 6-months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (occasional weekend work)
Pay Rate: $25/hr without benefits / $20/hr with benefits
Position Summary
The Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment throughout the facility. This role supports the day‑to‑day operations of the buildings and works closely with the Facilities Supervisor or Manager.

Position Summary
The Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment throughout the facility. This role supports the day‑to‑day operations of the buildings and works closely with the Facilities Supervisor or Manager.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist the Facilities Supervisor or Manager with daily facility operations.
- Perform routine cleaning throughout the facility, including:
- Cleaning kitchens/break rooms
- Vacuuming office areas
- Stocking and cleaning restrooms
- Sweeping and scrubbing warehouse floors
- Dust office furniture, partitions, ledges, mouldings and blinds.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and materials in safe, sanitary working condition.
- Support setup and tear‑down for facility events.
- Assist with departmental moves.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of custodial or related experience.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. Climbing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
- Ability to safely and correctly use chemicals and aerosols.
- Ability to work around potential biohazards (e.g., body fluids).
- Self‑motivated, dependable and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with team members and employees.
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
