8:6 Roster | Gold Exploration and Mining | WA-Based
NESFircroft are partnering with a Gold and Copper Exploration business, who have an opportunity for an experienced Field Technician to join a high‑performing team within a growing gold exploration and mining operation. This contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in remote field environments and enjoys a mix of technical fieldwork, operational support, and approvals‑related activities.
Working closely with the Snr Leadership team, you will play a critical role in collecting baseline data, supporting earthworks and drilling activities, and contributing to study programs essential to ongoing project development.

- Conduct ore metre mark‑ups, orientation, sampling, cutting and preparation of samples for laboratory submission.
- Support the mining team with RC grade‑control drilling activities, including XRF sample recording and associated sampling tasks.
- Stock-take and monitoring of all office and drilling consumables
- Assist Field Supervisor with day-to-day tasks.
- Assisting earthworks
- Drill site preparation, clearing and rehabilitation
You bring a strong safety mindset, excellent field skills, and the ability to work efficiently and independently in remote locations.
You will have:
- Class C manual WA driver’s licence (minimum) - HR Licenec and advantage
- Demonstrated experience working safely and effectively in remote WA field conditions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and exposure to acQuire, ArcGIS, Trimble and GPS‑based data tools.
- Current 4WD training and Senior First Aid certifications.
