An established resources operation is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its site-based team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. Operating on a 4:3 day shift FIFO roster from Darwin or Cairns, this role partners closely with operational leaders to deliver financial insights, analysis, and reporting that support informed decision-making, strong cost control, and sustainable business performance in a dynamic, asset-intensive environment.

Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering accurate and timely reporting, budgeting, and forecasting cycles
- Translating financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights
- Enhancing cost visibility and supporting value improvement initiatives
- Strengthening financial processes, tools, and reporting capability, including Power BI
- Supporting leaders with financial analysis to drive disciplined performance
- Strong experience partnering with operational stakeholders in a complex environment
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly and practically
- Confidence influencing and supporting leaders to maintain financial discipline
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- A continuous improvement mindset with a solutions-focused approach
- CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
