NES Fircroft are looking for a HD mechanic with strong automated truck experience, to join the team with a world leading OEM in automation. This position is targeted for a full time position, but will start on a 6 month contract before transferring to full time employment.

NES Fircroft are looking for a HD mechanic with strong automated truck experience, to join the team with a world leading OEM in automation. This position is targeted for a full time position, but will start on a 6 month contract before transferring to full time employment.

ABOUT YOU
- WA Driving License
- Trade Certificate - HD Mechanic
- Proven experience working with CAT 793, CAT 777, Hitachi 5000 and Hitachi 4000 trucks
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and control systems
- Experience with IT networking protocols, system administration and technical support
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to high‑quality customer service
- Ability to pass a full medical with drug & alcohol testing
- National police clearance
- Must have full Australian work rights
THE JOB ROLE
- Troubleshooting and repair of a fleet of automated trucks
- Represent a leading global mining technology provider as the on‑site application support specialist
- Support optimisation initiatives across AHS technologies and integration with wider mining systems
- Provide technical insights for development, change management and incident investigations
- Act as the customer’s primary contact for AHS‑related inquiries and support needs
