We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operators to support coal yard operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating large-scale earthmoving and material handling equipment in an industrial or energy production environment. This role is critical to maintaining efficient coal handling, stockpiling, and yard maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment including:
- D-10 Dozers
- 657G Scrapers or similar large-capacity scrapers
- Large Water Trucks
- Large Rubber Tire Dozers
- Front-End Loaders
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.
- Move, spread, and compact coal and other materials as directed.
- Maintain haul roads, stockpiles, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Coordinate with ground crews and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all site-specific safety protocols and environmental regulations. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial, mining, or energy setting.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
- Familiarity with coal yard operations or power generation facilities is a plus.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Work Environment:
- Outdoor coal yard environment with exposure to dust, noise, and heavy machinery.
- Rotating shifts and overtime may be required, including nights and weekends. Preferred Certifications:
- MSHA Certification (if applicable)
- OSHA 10/30
- Equipment-specific training or certifications
