About the Role For an international, technically oriented organization in the offshore energy and maritime sector, we are looking for an Inspection Coordinator. In this role, you ensure that inspection activities within projects are planned and executed efficiently, on time, and in compliance with contractual specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
You will work closely with project teams, suppliers, inspectors, and clients to ensure that delivered goods and services meet all agreed requirements.

Key Responsibilities As an Inspection Coordinator, you are responsible for the planning, preparation, and coordination of inspection activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Your duties include:
  • Developing and maintaining inspection schedules based on Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and inspection requests
  • Assigning qualified inspectors to activities and ensuring they understand the scope and requirements
  • Monitoring the status of vendor documentation related to inspections and expediting approvals prior to inspection start
  • Coordinating inspection activities with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and inspection bodies
  • Supporting the determination of project inspection levels based on risk and criticality assessments
  • Evaluating and liaising with external inspection agencies to ensure technical competence
  • Receiving, reviewing, distributing, and archiving inspection reports
  • Escalating critical findings and issues to relevant project stakeholders
  • Communicating non-conformities (NCRs) and tracking corrective actions through to closure
  • Reporting significant inspection matters to project leadership
Requirements
  • Proven experience in planning and coordination roles
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Familiarity with quality standards within offshore oil & gas or heavy industry
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive working style
