Installation Supervisor
Purpose
The position will be based in South Korea to engage the Onshore Wind projects during the fabrication for the next 9~10+ months.
The Installation Supervisor will be responsible for the installation of Onshore farm projects from start to completion. The role takes responsibility for a wind farm once the contract is signed and remains responsible until the final tests are completed. Based on-site and working closely with the Site Manager, Logistics, Purchasing, and Finance departments, as well as subcontractors, the Site Supervisor will supervise field activities to ensure safety, quality, and planning standards are met while providing technical assistance.
Responsibilities
As part of the team managed by the Site Manager, the Installation Supervisor will be responsible for:
Project execution: Oversee the day-to-day operations of wind turbine installations to ensure they stay on schedule, within budget, and meet all contract scope requirements.
Safety and quality: Ensure all work complies with Company' safety, quality, and environmental (QHSE) standards. This includes leading daily toolbox talks and site inductions, and reporting on any non-compliance or safety incidents.
Team leadership: Lead and manage on-site teams, including subcontractors, by setting performance expectations, providing coaching, and approving timesheets and expenses.
Coordination: Act as a central point of contact for installation teams, service technicians, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure smooth operations.
Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress, costs, and safety performance to management and stakeholders.
Technical oversight: Supervise technical aspects like lifting operations, component inspections, and any necessary on-site repairs or work inside the tower.
Qualifications
Must have valid International Driver’s License for South Korea.
GWO BST qualifications.
High school degree +2/3 years in construction management or an equivalent field.
5+ years of experience in site fabrication and team management.
Knowledge of safety, management procedures, delivery stations, electrical instruments and understanding of technical documents.
Experience in the wind sector is valuable.
Competencies
Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is essential.
Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
High diligence in maintaining a safe working environment and crisis management.
Leadership and team skills.
Basic Terms
Full-time resident and working minimum 40 hours a week.
12 weeks on and 3 weeks off.
Working Visa, Flights and Per diem will be provided.
An individual should make sure having own PPE and any kind of personal safety gears.
