The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Installation Supervisor to join a specialist installations team based in Neuwied, Germany. This is a hands-on, site-led role responsible for the successful execution of installation and assembly works at customer locations, both in Germany and internationally.

While the role has no direct reports, it carries full responsibility for the supervision, coordination and technical leadership of installation teams on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage installation and assembly activities independently
  • Supervise and deliver fireproof lining installations
  • Lead installation teams, providing technical guidance and workforce coordination
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for customers and subcontractors
  • Schedule and coordinate activities with other trades
  • Support commissioning activities and monitor site progress
  • Manage site documentation and reporting
  • Carry out service calls, repairs and fault analysis
  • Ensure full compliance with occupational health & safety regulations and internal standards
  • Support project cost calculations and workforce billing
  • Oversee proper site management and assembly personnel control
  • Undertake workshop and yard-based activities in Neuwied when required
Candidate Profile

Essential

  • Completed vocational training as a bricklayer, concrete worker or similar trade
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Supervisor or Foreman on construction or assembly sites
  • Proven experience managing installation teams and site activities
  • Fluent German and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong understanding of site safety and compliance requirements
  • Willingness to travel 100%
  • Valid Class B driving licence
Desirable

  • Experience within combustion engineering
  • CAD knowledge
  • Forklift licence
