Lead E&I Project Engineer
NES Fircroft are currently partnering with a leading Australian owned chemical company to source a Lead E&I Project Engineer to support their major projects team based out of their Kwinana operation

About You

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and eligible for Engineers Australia membership.
• Senior or lead level experience in EIC roles within mining, energy, or process manufacturing sectors.
• Strong technical and project management skills across EIC design, installation, and commissioning.
• Proficient in cost forecasting, schedule tracking, and contractor supervision.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration abilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver EIC project scopes in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Coordinate and review EIC design, calculations, and documentation.
• Manage vendors, subcontractors, and external consultants.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and capital requests.
• Support continuous improvement of EIC engineering practices and documentation.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all project activities.
