Are you an experienced Legal Safety Coordinator looking to join one of the largest industrial construction projects in Belgium? Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate application of prevention principles during construction.
- Maintain and update:
- Safety & Health Plan
- Coordination File
- Post-Intervention Dossier
- Organize contractor coordination meetings.
- Conduct site walk-arounds to verify compliance with legislation and project standards.
- Support HSSE and Construction Managers in resolving safety matters.
- Safety Coordinator Level A (Belgian legal certificate) – mandatory.
- Safety Advisor Level 1 – advantage.
- Degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, electromechanical).
- Strong knowledge of Belgian HSSE legislation.
- Fluent Dutch and good English.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a legal safety coordinator.
- 10+ years HSSE experience in major Belgian construction projects.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
