Logistics Specialist – Oilfield Services - Projects Location: Aberdeen or Montrose (On-site)
Contract: 12 months PAYE
Hours: 37.5 per week
NES Fircroft are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join one of their leading oilfield services clients. This role will support the logistics department in managing the movement of materials and goods for both manufacturing and project-driven operations.

NES Fircroft are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join one of their leading oilfield services clients. This role will support the logistics department in managing the movement of materials and goods for both manufacturing and project-driven operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for EPC projects.
- Prepare and verify import/export documentation in line with customs compliance.
- Optimize freight planning to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery.
- Support project loadouts, kick-off meetings, and stakeholder alignment.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and ensure carrier compliance.
- Source cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Strong knowledge of international logistics and Incoterms.
- Understanding of duties, tariffs, and customs regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems (SAP experience desirable).
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
