Job Title: Maintenance Planner
Contract length: 3 months, with potential for extension
Start & End Date: March 24,2026- June 30,2026
Location: McClean Lake, Northern Saskatchewan
Schedule & Rotation: 14&14, 12hr workdays (6am-7:30pm) (1hr unpaid break), although it may require some activity outside of normal working hours. This is a Fly-in-Fly-Out (FIFO) position from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows, Stony Rapids, Wollaston Post, Fond du Lac and Points North.

Our client is seeking a temporary Maintenance Planner to help support the Mining Maintenance Group with SAP set up, warehouse parts integration, and maintenance planning at its McClean Lake Site.

Overview:
Our client is seeking a temporary Maintenance Planner to help support the Mining Maintenance Group with SAP set up, warehouse parts integration, and maintenance planning at its McClean Lake Site.
Job Duties:
- SAP System Setup & Data Integration
- Support the initial set up and configuration of SAP for maintenance and warehouse operations.
- Review, identify and process existing warehouse parts to obtain material numbers.
- Input approved material numbers into SAP and ensure accuracy of part information.
- Bill of Materials (BOM) Development Add newly registered parts to equipment specific Bills of Materials.
- Ensure BOMs are complete, accurate, and aligned with operational requirements.
- Warehouse Organization & Labelling Assist with the physical labelling of parts and warehouse storage locations.
- Implement a structured system for part identification, tracking, and storage integrity
- Maintenance Planning Enablement Once BOMs are established, support the development of preventive maintenance plans and service intervals for equipment.
- Work towards establishing scheduled maintenance processes within SAP.
- KPI & Performance Tracking (Optional Phase) As the system matures, assist in developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure parts usage, planning efficiency, and maintenance performance.
- 5 years of engineering or planning experience (industrial experience preferred).
- Familiarity or capability of learning the SAP PM and MM modules.
- Effective planning and organizational skills.
- Co-ordinate activities, information, materials or resources within own area of responsibility to meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a demanding environment.
- Highly organized with an emphasis for detail.
- Contractors will have to provide their own PPE.
- Room and Board are provided.
- Travel Days: contractors will be paid a maximum amount of 3hrs of travel time.
