NES Fircroft is partnered with a world leader in mining who is seeking an experienced Master Data Specialist for an initial 06-month contract based in Adelaide.
You will be responsible the timely creation and approval of master data to support project deliverables.

You will be responsible the timely creation and approval of master data to support project deliverables.
About the role
Main job responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Deploy maintenance strategies to 1SAP, incorporating work management plans, task lists
- Create Master Data load sheets for approved strategies and master data recommendations in accordance with the Master Data Governance Standards
- Collaborate with other teams (master data, planning & scheduling, execution) in order to clarify and validate Master Data requirements
- Recommend, review and implement improvement initiatives in existing processes, practices and systems
- Align and standardise SAP master data to Master Data Design Standards
- Review master data, engineering drawings and other information to establish equipment details.
About You
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Experience in mining (mobile, fixed plant, processing, rail or infrastructure), preferably having worked in maintenance departments
- An ability to work across several engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical and electrical) will be highly regarded
- Proficiency in 1SAP
- Ability to influence, engage with & communicate effectively across multiple levels, business units, functional areas and external stakeholders
- Ability to multi-task, solve problems and meet deadlines under pressure
- Engineering or trade background with proven experience in relevant fields.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective communication, networking and teamwork skills
