Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: Carmichaels, Pennsylvania
Duration: 6 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Rate: $21.00/hour
Role Summary
The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring on‑time delivery of equipment to meet operational demands. This position plays a critical role in reducing maintenance‑related downtime, improving overall maintenance efficiency, and supporting productivity within the Maintenance Base (MB).

Role Summary
The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring on‑time delivery of equipment to meet operational demands. This position plays a critical role in reducing maintenance‑related downtime, improving overall maintenance efficiency, and supporting productivity within the Maintenance Base (MB).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on assigned equipment in alignment with maintenance programs and reliability‑centered maintenance strategies.
- Follow all established procedures within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and adhere to standard work guidelines.
- Accurately record materials, labor hours, parts consumed, work orders, performance data, and asset movements within the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) system.
- Ensure compliance with all TLM Product Line standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime, improving turnaround time, and increasing asset utilization.
- Support process improvements designed to enhance maintenance team efficiency and productivity.
- Contribute to cost‑of‑service‑delivery (CoSD) projects, including planned repairs and parts reuse.
- Assist with equipment failure investigations assigned.
- Maintain required competencies as outlined in the TLM Competency Management System.
Required & Preferred (Combined):
- Mechanical aptitude or mechanical background (preferred).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform hands‑on physical tasks.
- Basic computer proficiency with the ability to navigate shop‑based software systems.
- Experience in industrial or oilfield environments (preferred).
- Forklift operation experience (preferred).
- Overhead crane operation experience (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced maintenance environment.
