Onshore Package Manager
Onshore Package Manager will lead overall EPC execution for the onshore package of the part of the Offshore Wind facilities in Korea.
Responsibilities
- Interface seamlessly with the other Package Managers (Commercial and Technical).
- Project management of their relevant package during the planning and development phase inlead up to construction.
- Provide commercial input and recommendations on procurement strategy for the Onshore EPCPackages (Civil Construction, Elec. Construction and Substation).
- Lead the procurement activities for Onshore package.
- Commercial management during construction phase and forward planning of EPC Contractor activities for Onshore package.
- Provide commercial / contractual input on interface issues that may arise within and/orbetween work packages.
- Be responsible for contract administration and responding to contractual matters whenthey arise.
- Manage time effectively between Office and Site.
- Establish meeting schedules with relevant contractors, service providers and internal teams tooversee and control overall project delivery on a look forward basis to ensure timely decisionmaking and problem solving.
- Oversee and manage relevant commercial handover procedures for each package.
- Trouble shooting and problem solving technical, commercial and legal related issues as theyarise.
- Engage with the internal Operations and Maintenance Team together with contractors andservice providers.
- Establish suitable weekly and monthly reporting during this phase in line with corporatereporting policy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ technical and procurement experience within the energy industry with a focus on electrical and civil engineering activities.
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of onshore substation/transmission systems, grid codes and standards, procurement processes, ITT development, good negotiation skill.
- Desirable knowledge of HV testing and grid connection process, safe systems of work, SAP would be an advantage.
