I. REQUIREMENTS:
1. Educational Qualfications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Petroleum Drilling and Production, Mechanical, Marine or Process Engineering. Master’s preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is an advantage.

2. Experiences
- More than 10 years of experience in offshore O&M roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions (Operation Manager / Deputy O&M).
- Strong experience managing CPPs, WHPs, FPSO tie-ins, brownfield upgrades, and production optimization.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience working at Vietnam based JOCs (e.g. VSP, BDJOC, CLJOC, HLJOC).
- Offshore operational experience in the Middle East (e.g., Qatar, UAE, KSA) is an added advantage.
- Experience in Project Manager roles is highly desirable.

3. Technical Expertise:
- Proven ability to develop O&M models applicable to multiple oilfields under long-term contracts.
- Strong analytical mindset for advising clients on production systems, HSE, and asset reliability

4. Core Competencies and attributes
- Strong offshore operational leadership and team management - able to motivate and guide multidisciplinary engineering teams under tight project timelines.
- Deep understanding of asset life-cycle, brownfield challenges, and regulatory compliance.
- Capable of managing client relationships and delivering value in performance-based contracts.
- Adaptive to multicultural environments and dynamic project demands.
- Strong verbal and written reporting, risk analysis, and emergency response capability.

II. Job Descriptions:
1. Overall
- The Deputy Operation Manager – O&M will support the O&M
Department Manager in managing the operations and maintenance of offshore oil & gas production assets including CPPs, WHPs, FPSOs and associated infrastructure.
- The position requires a strong combination of technical expertise, offshore operations leadership, and strategic capability to develop and implement scalable, professional O&M models — including managing multi-field
contracts across domestic and international projects.
- This role is critical to strengthening POS’s service delivery capacity and its position as a premier O&M contractor in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

2. Operational & Technical Oversight
- Coordinate day-to-day O&M activities for offshore platforms, onshore bases, and marine assets.
- Monitor and ensure production efficiency, equipment integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee CMMS implementation, EMS/HSE-MS systems, and technical documentation standards.
- Supervise turnaround/shutdown plans, reliability programs, and asset integrity strategies

3. Strategic & Business Development
- Contribute to the development and execution of multi-field O&M service models aligned with POS’s long-term strategy.
- Provide operational insights and technical recommendations to management for business growth.
- Participate in building best-in-class frameworks for managing brownfield/greenfield offshore assets.

4. Contract & Client Interface
- Act as technical focal point for clients, ensuring compliance with KPIs
and service deliverables.
- Support bidding and tendering activities for O&M contracts, including
technical proposals and cost evaluations.
- Manage subcontractor interfaces and performance for O&M scopes.

5. Leadership & Capability Building
- Mentor junior engineers, field supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
- Promote a strong safety culture and high-performance operations environment.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and HAZOP/HAZID reviews as required.
