NES Fircroft are currently supporting our valued client, a Global Oil & Gas Operator, who are looking for a Process Engineer to join their team in Onslow, WA, on an initial 2-year assignment.
Position description:
The Process Engineer will own and drive performance and reliability within the asset - Plant and Platform. The role provides guidance and expertise to assist engineering, operations, and maintenance leaders in diagnosing and correcting operating problems to maintain safe and reliable operations, optimise production, and reduce carbon emissions.

Position description:
The Process Engineer will own and drive performance and reliability within the asset - Plant and Platform. The role provides guidance and expertise to assist engineering, operations, and maintenance leaders in diagnosing and correcting operating problems to maintain safe and reliable operations, optimise production, and reduce carbon emissions.
Additionally, the Frontline Process Engineer will be:
- Support day to day facility operations; monitoring performance of the plant & platform, product quality and coordinating with operations and maintenance to ensure safe and reliable production
- Provide engineering support to production and maintenance on all matters associated with Platform and LNG plant
- Define the scope of work, to identify and rectify system performance deficiencies, and drive execution of these to completion
- Interface with Perth based Process team, and other supporting organizations across the enterprise to achieve best-in-class asset performance
- Lead and implement changes to process and utilities units whilst adhering to the Management of Change (MoC) process
- Work with operations teams to ensure that OE expectations are met.
- Review changes in Platform and Plant testing procedures, start-up and operations procedures
Top 3 Must have skills:
- The Process Engineer will be fluent in risk assessment, design review and HAZOP/LOPA principles
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical / Process Engineering preferred)
- Demonstrated strong experience, technically competent and experienced in LNG Process Engineering
