Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Scheduler & Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team. This critical dual-role position is responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining the production schedule while also managing the end-to-end logistics for all inbound and outbound materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing planning and scheduling, strong knowledge of ERP systems, and experience coordinating material flow probably in a batch environment Key Responsibilities ⚙️ Production Planning & Scheduling
  • Develop and maintain a detailed production schedule that optimizes resource utilization, meets customer delivery deadlines, and minimizes inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Management to align the production plan with business forecasts and priorities.  Particularly close liaison with Maintenance and Quality to sequence necessary planned maintenance and QC sampling.
  • Monitor production output and inventory levels, adjusting the schedule in real-time to address unexpected delays, material shortages, or equipment failures.
  • Generate work orders and ensure they are released and completed according to the established plan.  You will be the champion for transactional accuracy across the site, ensuring that all stakeholders are trained to move material through the ERP and WMS system.
  • Analyze production performance metrics (e.g., adherence to schedule, lead times) and recommend improvements to planning processes.
🚢 Logistics & Material Control
  • Manage the logistics for all inbound raw materials, including coordinating shipments and managing stock transfers from external warehouse to site.
  • Oversee the logistics for all outbound finished goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective transfer to our external distribution warehouse and liaison with customers for collection
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure compliance and smooth material movement.  This includes regular special sample deliveries to global potential customers
  • Ensure that all material movements are accurately documented and reconciled in the ERP system.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar supply chain role within a manufacturing environment or chemical batch plant.
  • ERP Expertise: Very strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience utilizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for production scheduling (e.g., order entry, capacity planning, material requirements planning/MRP).  client uses Oracle NetSuite.
  • Logistics Knowledge: Proven experience managing and coordinating logistics, especially airfreight sample deliveries.  Coordination with 3PL partners in client case we prepare goods FOB Busan.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience).

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  You will demonstrate a passion for ‘visual factory’ and presenting data at all levels from complex spreadsheets to one-line dashboards.
  • Time Management: Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple, simultaneous deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
