NES Fircroft are working with a well‑funded Perth-based gold exploration company with multiple high‑priority prospect areas across the Eastern Goldfields. We are is seeking an experienced Project Exploration Geologist to join their dynamic team. This permanent role is ideal for a geologist with strong WA gold experience and a passion for generative exploration and discovery.
About the Role
This is a Perth-based position operating on a campaign-style schedule, with regular field trips to remote exploration camps in the Eastern Goldfields. Working within a small, collaborative team, you’ll play a pivotal role in target generation, technical interpretation, and delivering high-quality field programs across several promising gold prospects.

About the Role
This is a Perth-based position operating on a campaign-style schedule, with regular field trips to remote exploration camps in the Eastern Goldfields. Working within a small, collaborative team, you’ll play a pivotal role in target generation, technical interpretation, and delivering high-quality field programs across several promising gold prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to generative exploration, target generation and structural interpretation
- Plan and execute campaign-style field work including mapping, sampling, and drilling oversight
- Core logging, RC chip logging, data interpretation and geological modelling inputs
- Assist with drill planning, contractor management and daily field operations
- Collaborate effectively between the Perth office and remote field camps
- Maintain geological datasets, interpretations, and produce high-quality technical reports
- Ensure all work adheres to strong safety and environmental standards
- WA exploration experience (essential)
- Gold exploration experience within Archaean/Yilgarn greenstones
- Competent in field mapping, sampling, logging and structural geology
- Comfortable working in campaign-style exploration and small camp environments
- Strong initiative, independent problem-solving and communication skills
- Geology/Earth Sciences tertiary qualification
- Manual driver’s licence + ability to pass pre-employment medicals
